Air Travel

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is our primary international airport.  LAX is located about 10 miles south of UCLA. More information can be found here:  While it is usually a 30-minute drive between LAX and UCLA, we usually plan that it will take an hour during heavy commute times.

Ground Transportation

The LAX Flyaway buses offer convenient regularly scheduled round-trips, seven days a week, between each terminal at LAX and many locations, including Westwood (West Los Angeles, UCLA). The UCLA stop at Parking Structure 32 is just a 15-minute walk to the Luskin Conference Center.

Other options can be found here: Please be sure to read the curbside signs at the baggage claim level to find specific stops for rideshare options.

When we call a cab, we use LA Bell Cab.

The Flyaway costs about $10. The usual cab fare is about $50, and a Lyft ride can be about $30.

Campus Map

The UCLA Luskin Conference Center is located at D5 on this campus map.

We note some campus highlights (map location): Royce Hall at E3; Murphy Sculpture Garden at F3; and the Mathias Botanical Garden at F6.
