Duke University

Duke NCSP offers scholars an exceptional fellowship training program, including dedicated and comprehensive didactic and experiential learning opportunities, a deep bench of experienced and successful mentors, and direct training and engagement with community partners. With proximity to key federal, state, and local policy stakeholders, our program joins resources from the Schools of Medicine and Nursing, key collaborators across Duke’s campus, and community partners across North Carolina to create a unique training experience that prepares Scholars for leadership in health services, community-engaged, population health, and health policy research. Situated in central North Carolina, Duke’s longstanding commitment and successful track record of partnered community and stakeholder engagement offers a unique lens and foundation for study of rural and urban health, social drivers of health, and health in the Southeast. Duke’s NCSP is ideal for interdisciplinary research training.
